Australia Awards Scholarships 2016-17, English Language Requirements
Applications for Australia Awards Scholarships will open on 1 February 2016 for studies commencing in January 2017. Applications will close on 20 April 2016.
Australia Awards Scholarships will be offered to undertake Masters study programs in the priority development sectors of Public health (including maternal, neonatal and child health, and nutrition), Education (including basic education sen/ices, and early childhood education), Economic growth (including agriculture, rural development, agri-business and entrepreneurship), Governance, Mining and Water resource management. They aim to develop the capacity and leadership skills of awardees so they can contribute to development in the Pakistan.
An IELTS (Academic) or TOEFL certificate must be submitted with a scholarship application and must be valid at 1 January 2017.
If you intend to apply for an Australia Awards Scholarship, you need to complete either an IELTS or TOEFL language examination well before your application is due.
Australia Awards Scholarships English language requirements – are you ready?
To be considered for an Australia Awards Scholarship, you need to meet the following minimum standards in English language proficiency:
IELTS (Academic): a minimum overall score of at least 6.5 with no band less than 6.0;
TOEFL a minimum paper-based test score of at least 580, with a minimum of 4.5 in the test of written English or an internet-based TOEFL score of at least 92, with a minimum of 21 in all subtests.
