Employment Opportunities:
Communication & Works Department intends to establish Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under Asian Development Bank funded “Flood Emergency Reconstruction & Resilience Project (FERRP)”. Applications are invited from suitable candidates on contract basis for following posts. They will be offered market based salary.

1. Project Director:
Age Limit: 50-63 years.
Salary: Rs. 195,000/- (in case of contract employee) or BS-20 + Project allowance.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. Master Degree in Transportation Engineering from a recognized university shall be preferred. Should have experience of more than 25 year of design, planning, construction, operation, monitoring and management of road projects. Should have worked in a senior position in road sector projects. Should be well conversant with in financial management of foreign assisted projects. Should have knowledge of latest engineering codes of practices. Should be fully conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and resettlement issues relating to projects and of donor’s requirements in this regards. Departmental officers are also eligible to apply and compete for subject assignment. In case of selection of departmental officer, his appointment will be made by transfer. Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply. NOC is required from the present employer.

2. Superintending Engineer / Director (A&W):
Age Limit: 45-55 years.
Salary: Rs. 160,000/- (in case of contract employee) or BS-19 + Project allowance.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Should have experience of more than 20 year of design, planning, construction, operation, monitoring and management of projects. Should have worked in executive position in road sector projects. Should be well conversant with in financial management of foreign assisted projects. Should have knowledge of latest engineering codes of practices. Should be fully conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and resettlement issues relating to projects and of donor’s requirements in this regards. Departmental officers are also eligible to apply and compete for subject assignment. In case of selection of departmental officer, his appointment will be made by transfer. Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply. Should have clear service record. NOC is required from the present employer.

3. Director (Finance & Accounts)
Age Limit: 45-55 years.
Salary: Rs. 160,000/- (in case of contract employee) or BS-19 + Project allowance.
Qualification & Experience: Possess a professional accounting qualification CA/FCA/FCMA/ACMA/MBA Finance degree. Min 7 year experience for CA/FCA or 10 years’ experience for FCMA/ACMA/MBA Finance. Familiar with the latest accounting rules and regulations and have experience of handling financial management software. Motivated, having strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills to manage, lead and guide team of finance and administration staff in enhancing their effectiveness in a professional environment. Should have good report with Banks regulations and various Governing Authorities. Possess problem solving abilities with strong analytical and presentation skills. 4. Deputy Director (Procurement & Contract Administration):
Age Limit: 35-55 years.
Salary: Rs. 120,000/- (in case of contract employee) or BS-18 + Project allowance.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor in Civil Engineering from recognized university. Should have experience of more than 10 years of procurement of goods and services. Should be computer literate having experience of basic computer software i.e., MS office etc. Departmental officers are also eligible to apply and compete for subject assignment. In case of selection of departmental officer, his appointment will be made by transfer. Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply. Should have clear service record. NOC is required from the present employer.

5. Accounts Officer:
Age Limit: 25-35 years.
Salary: Rs. 66,000/- (in case of contract employee) or BS-17 + Project allowance.
Qualification & Experience: Masters in Banking & Finance or Masters in Commerce (M.Com) or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Bachelor in Business Administration BBA (Finance). Must have minimum 5 year post qualification experience of preparing / maintaining of accounts in private / government / semi government organization. Should be well aware of Accounting Standards of Budget & Accounts. Also have experience of handling Departmental Accounts procedure & AG office procedures. Have strong knowledge of accounts related software e.g. Peach Tree Accounting Software. In case of selection of departmental officer, his appointment will be made by transfer. Persons domiciled in Province of the Punjab are eligible to apply. Should have clear service record. NOC is required from the present employer.

6. Office Manager:
Age Limit: 30-50 years.
Salary: Rs. 66,000/- (in case of contract employee) or BS-17 + Project allowance.
Qualification & Experience: M.B.A, M.P.A from a recognized University / Institute. Has related working experience of at least 5 year reputed organization. Should possess strong analytical skills and proficiency operating MS Office package independently. Has a pleasant personality and possess quality of troubleshooting the common problems generally faced in a fast tracked operating organization. In case of selection of departmental officer, his / her appointment will be made by transfer. Persons domiciled in the Punjab are eligible. Should have clear service record.

General Information:
1. The last date for submission of application is 15-01-2016. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
2. The Name of Post must be clearly written on envelope at the top right comer otherwise the application will not be considered.

4. The above positions are on contract basis, for a period of two (02) years (extendable upto 0 3-years).
5. These positions are open to both public and private sector candidates. Government employees are eligible to apply through proper channel. In case of selection of Department candidates, pay and project allowance shall be admissible as per Finance Department notification dated 21-11-2014.

7. All posts are Lahore-based, however may require periodic visits to project sites throughout Punjab.
