Central Power Purchasing Agency (Guarantee) Ltd (CPPA-G) is a non-profit independent company established under the company ordinancel 984. The company deals in electrical power procurement and sales to DISCOs. CPPA-G is looking for a result oriented, professional and self-motivated individual having strong leadership qualities forthe following vacant position.

Manager Corporate Accounting: (Islamabad/Lahore)

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions and the Financial Services area including Credit, A/R and A/P. He / She will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies, IFRS and other regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience/Skills:

ACMA/ACA with at least five years of post-qualification experience. Working knowledge of good management practices, electricity utility industry, management financial accounting and reporting. Must have good understanding of electric utility business under the regulatory regime. Candidate having experience of working in ERP environment and in power sector would be given preference.

Ability to lead and inspire employees, to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, supervise and motivate subordinates.

Manager Taxation: (Islamabad / Lahore)

The candidate will be responsible for overall taxation function of CPPA-G and to cater all tax issues of the company according to requirements of relevant laws and procedures at federal level as well as at provincial level, where applicable. He will also responsible to develop internal procedure in orderto ensure timely statutory filing of tax returns.

Education & Experience/Skills:

ACMA/ACA with ten years of post-qualification experience. Candidate with the background of power sector will have added benefit.

Manager Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): (Islamabad/Lahore)

The Candidate will be responsible for planning and directing all work activities leading to the solution, delivery, assurance and acceptance of projects.

Education & Experience/Skills:

MBA. Preferably candidate having accounting background such as B.Com or ACMA (Inter) / CA (Inter) /ACCA with minimum 8 years of experience in ERP implementation, having experience of Project manager role in 3 ERP implementations. Candidate must have done PMP training.

Manager Strategy and Market Development: (Islamabad/Lahore)

To assist the CEO and management in preparation and then implementation monitoring and control of the medium / long term strategic business plan. Play a key role in ensuring CPPA-G compliance with market rules and commercial code. Support the CEO and the senior management in implementation of the power market transition plan, approved by MEPRA.

Education & Experience/Skills:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and MBA Finance, minimum ten years of prior experience in power sector, especially in domain of strategy and change.

Management Trainee / Intern: (Islamabad /Lahore)

Management trainee/intern will perform and accomplished the stated duties to the highest quality and standard, and will assist the policy team to perform the tasks.

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting & Finance, Electrical Engineering or related field. Fresh graduates required and preference will be given to candidates with 1 -2 years prior experience in power sector.

Skills Required:

Proficient in MS Office, ability or organize work and set priorities, effective communication skills, orally and written, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship and Communication with CPPA-G employees and PDP team members.

Salary package and Tenure:

The position will have Market based remuneration commensurate with experience and qualification. All posts are on contract basis and based in Islamabad / Lahore.
