Situations Vacant:
Pakistan Ordnance Factories Wah Cantt, a huge industrial complex in public sector, is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, motivated and creative talent for appointment against the following positions on contract basis initially for a period of one year.

1. Chief Finance Officer Post-01
Age: Maximum 55 years.
Qualification / Experience: CA from ICAP & Member ICAP. A minimum of 20 years experience in a reputed local / international organization at senior level.

Job Description:
i. Develop Organizational Financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information & analysis; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational goals.
ii. Oversee all POF’s accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
iii. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with Organizational requirements.
iv. Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity & quality strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
v. Preparation of annual budget inline with the futuristic requirements.
vi. Develop Financial Strategies and prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
vii. Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.
viii. Prepare monthly as well as annual financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports / analysis.
ix. Develop and monitor policies / procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues through accuracy & transparency.
x. Review prior financial results and foresee anticipated changes to highlight future needs and trends.
xi. Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual and budget results.
xii. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances & advise POF Board accordingly.

1. Senior Officer (OG-lll) (Textile Engineer) Post-01
Age: Maximum 39 years.
Qualification / Experience: BSc Textile Engineering or equivalent from HEC recognized University. 05-06 Years Professional Experience of Textile/Garments Industry.

2. Officer (OG-II) (Textile Engineer) Post-01
Age: Maximum 34 years.
Qualification / Experience: BSc Textile Engineering or equivalent from HEC recognized University. 02-03 Years Professional Experience of Textile / Garments Industry.

3. Officer (OG-II) (Horticulturist) Post-01
Age: Maximum 40 years.
Qualification / Experience: MSc Horticulture from a recognized University. 02-03 years professional experience as a horticulturist.

4- Assistant Technical Officer – Textile (BS-14) Posts-06
Age: Maximum 35 years.
Qualification / Experience: Diploma of Associate Engineering in Textile / Tailoring from a recognized institution. 05 Years relevant Experience.

5. Chargeman-Textile (BS-12) Posts-08
Age: Maximum 30 years.
Qualification / Experience: Diploma of Associate Engineering in Textile / Tailoring from a recognized institution.

6. Fireman (BS-04) Posts-70
Qualification / Experience: For Ex-Serviceman (Age: Max 40 years). Middle, Minimum Height 5′.6″ Does not wear spectacles. For Civilian (Age: Max 30 years) Matric. Minimum Height 5′.6″ Does not wear spectacles.

7. Civilian Motor Driver (BS-04) Posts-40
Qualification / Experience: For Ex-Serviceman (Age: Max 45 years) Middle with HTV Drivinq License. For Civilian (Age: Max 30 years) Matric with HTV Driving License
