State Bank of Pakistan SBP Job, IT Auditors
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, regulates the monetary and credit system of the country and fosters its growth in the best national interest with a view to secure monetary stability and optimum utilization of the country’s productive resources. In order to further strengthen the institutional capacity in IT Audit area, applications are invited from high calibre and dynamic professionals for the following position, based at Karachi.
IT Auditors (OG-2)
Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Assist in annual risk assessment exercise, annual audit plan preparation and pre-audit planning/ presentation.
Develop/improve Audit Program and perform control testing.
Identify internal control weaknesses, irregularities and suggest improvements thereof.
Evaluate IT controls and procedures of IT systems and applications used in SBP.
Performs general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer information systems.
Review I.T Security System based on approved Security Framework, policies and procedures.
Prepare audit findings and working papers.
Resolve issues identified by Quality Assurance.
Coordinate and provide an adequate support to Financial and Operational Audit Teams by carrying out IT audit of business areas.
Participate in exit meetings and contribute on issues raised.
Qualification: Masters or Bachelors Degree (16 years) in Computer Science/ Computer Systems/Management Information System or equivalent from HEC recognized institutions or from any reputable foreign university. Candidates having certification in CISA, CIA, CISCO or Oracle will be preferred.
Age: Maximum 31 years, relaxable in case the candidate possesses exceptional qualification/experience.
Experience: Minimum three (03) years relevant post qualification experience in a reputable organization preferably in banks, financial institutions or highly reputed companies.
Sound understanding of risk based audit, advance network/security implementation/database administration.
Knowledge of MS Active Directory/MS Exchange.
Business knowledge of ERP & banking operations.
Excellent presentation, communication & problem solving skills.
Understanding of prevailing IT related standards pertaining to application development, support services and helpdesk operations.
Complete knowledge of audit standard of ISACA and IIA.
Knowledge of audit analysis tool like ACL.
