A donor Funded Project invites applications from qualified candidates for the following posts, on contract basis
Department Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Reports to PSM Manager
Age Limit Max 60 Years
Duty Station Islamabad, Pakistan
Duration of initial contract 2 years, with possible extension (subject to funding continuation)
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the PSM Manager will undertake the following activities;
Provide efficient support and ensure success of the overall procurement & logistics activities, while providing efficient utilization of resources in accordance with NTP procurement procedures.
Act as focal point for requisitions received for the procurement of goods and logistics services for the main and field offices by issuing tenders and POs after completion of the procurement cycle as per GF rules;
Ensure full compliance and application of standard NTP procurement rules, procedures and best practices.
Maintain procurement processes that ensure project’s effective ability to procure and deliver quality goods and services to the requesting offices. Ensure fairness in transparent bidding processes and effective competition, as well as best prices and best value for money in all procurement and logistics activities.
Ensure timely and quality procurement and logistics services provision according to the project’s duration, Oversee, and control shipping and delivery of purchased goods, equipment, and supplies, as well as their customs clearance and insurance (where required).
Manage all logistical arrangements ensuring proper quality control, specification compliance, monitoring and verification of deliveries, plus timely delivery to the end user.
Any other related role as may be delegated by Management or PSM Manager from time to time;
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Master degree in Business Administration, Master degree in Public Administration with minimum 5 years relevant experience preferably in the health sector.
Experience of developing systems and SOPs for managing procurement and logistics Skills in procurements best practices, clearing and forwarding, warehousing, and distribution; Experience working on TB program/projects from reputable organizations; Ability to prepare reports using Ms. Office Packages and PowerPoint-
Flexible, willing to work under pressure and tight deadlines, with good communication skills, willing to learn;
