The University of Balochistan is a Public Sector University established in 1970.

The University of Balochistan seeks the services of Strong & Dynamic candidates possessing the requirement against the vacant posts mentioned below: –

2    Deputy Director    BPS-18    •    MS/M.Phil/MBA,  •    Minimum 10 years experience in Govt: semi govt: or autonomous organizations.  •    Knowledge of issues of technology transfer and commercialization of university research. Experience in dealing with relevant agencies of Govt: of Pakistan. Provincial and Local Government.    35 years

3    Research Associate (Research Operations)    BPS-17    •    Masters in Science (M.Sc) or MBA.  •    Preference will be given to those candidate who have experience in Research Operations, funded research projects and research promotions    35 years

4    Research Associate (Web & Communications)    BPS-17    •    Masters in Computer Science Or BS in IT or CS  •    Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in web development, maintenance and official communication.    35 years

5    Engineering Manager    BPS-17    •    BE (Electronics)  •    At-least three (03) years experience with knowledge of maintenance of FM radio equipments.    35 years

6    Production Manager    BPS-17    •    Masters in Mass Communication  •    One year experience of working in a FM radio or in a production house.    35 years

7    Assistant Engineer    BPS-17    •    BE (Civil)  •    Minimum 10 years experience in Govt: semi govt: or autonomous organizations.    35 years

10    Assistant Accounts Officer    BPS-16    •    M.Com, ICMA  •    At-least four parts passed or ACCA with one year experience of maintenance of accounts and preparation of financial statement.  •    One year experience of working in a FM radio or in a production house.    35 years

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

a.    Candidates Local / Domicile of Balochistan are eligible to apply.

b.    Interested individuals who meet the criteria can obtain Application Form from the website of the University of Balochistan www.uob.edu.pk.

c.    All candidates are required to attach curriculum vitae, 4 recent photographs, attested copies of all the educational degrees and other testimonials with the application.

d.    Experience Certificates as per CV must be attached with the application form.

e.    Applicants already in service should apply through proper channel along with NOC issued by their parent departments by due date otherwise their applications will not be entertained.

f.    Incomplete applications or received after the due date or not fulfilling the minimum criteria would not be entertained in any case.

g.    Interview will be held in University of Balochistan Quetta and no T.A/D.A is admissible.

h.    Canvassing in any manner or form will disqualify the candidates.

i.    The Competent Authority of the University reserves the right of cancelling any or all of the above positions without assigning any reasons.

j. The application processing fee for the Grade 16 and above is Rs. 2,000/-, and from Grade-07 to 14 is Rs. 1000/-, which can be submitted in the Habib Bank, University of Balochistan Branch or in the shape of Bank Draft in the name of Treasurer, University of Balochistan. However, applicants who are applying for the position of Grade 02 to 04 are exempted from the processing fee.

k. Applications may be delivered personally or by post to the Assistant Registrar (Establishment) within due dates: The last date for submission of application form is 25th February-2016.
