US woman who married Shangla man all praise for Pakistan
BISHAM: A woman from the United States who recently married a Pakistani man belonging to Shangla district said she had heard that Pakistan was the epicentre of terrorism but die reality was quite different.
“1 feel that the people here are very loving, peaceful and hospitable,” Irma Taseer said while talking to this scribe.
She had developed friendship with 25-year old Taseerul-lah, who belongs to Lilwanai village in Shangla, through the Facebook.
Taseerullah and Irma Sharev Inja hailing from Los Vegas in the US got in touch with each other on the Facebook and their friendship blossomed into love with the passage of time.
After countless hours of chatting on the Facebook for several months, Irma expressed her willingness to visit Pakistan and many him. She arrived in Islamabad last week where they contracted marriage as she willingly converted to Islam. Her new name is Irma Taseer.
Taseerullah then took his wife to his hometown in Shangla where hundreds of people, mostly women and children. flocked to their house to have a glimpse of the American lady and congratulate the couple on their wedding.
Taseerullah said. “Our friendship has now converted into marriage thanks to the Facebook, which provided us an opportunity to communicate and understand each other.”
