The Central Board of Revenue, which was renamed as the Federal Board of Revenue, has been in charge of regulating the inflow and outflow of monetary funds through conventional methods since before the country gained independence.
Under the revenue department of the Finance Ministry, the Federal Board of Revenue oversees tax evasion and functions through regional and Large taxpayer units across the country.
